The features of iPhone SE and iPhone 7 are almost the same. A small number of disparities can be seen between them. iPhone SE is a newly released model of the year 2020 by Apple Inc. On the other hand, iPhone 7 was released on September 16, 2016. In this article, you may find some schism between the two devices iPhone se vs iPhone 7.
The iPhone SE has a glass front, glass back and an aluminum frame appearance and 148g weight. Though iPhone 7’s front part is made of glass, its back and frame are made of aluminum. The weight of this device is 138g.
As I said, both devices look a lot like equivalent as iPhone SE and iPhone 7; both phone’s screen sizes are the same 4.7-inch Retina IPD LCD capacitive with 1334*750 pixels resolution. Camera quality is also same among these devices. The rear camera offers 12MP lenses with apertures of f/1.8 and the front camera offers 7MP in these devices. In both cameras, you will get smart HDR and Face detection features. Quad-Led dual-tone flash makes pictures look more life-like. The sensors used in the iPhone SE device are also as same as iPhone 7.
A13 Bionic (7 nm+) processor makes the device more powerful and better than that of the iPhone 7, which runs A10 Fusion (16 nm). The Hexa-core (2*2.65 GHz lightning+4*1.8 GHz Thunder) CPU makes iPhone SE different from the Quad-core 2.34 GHz CPU of iPhone 7.
The storages are also not similar between them. The iPhone SE has 3GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB Storage and iPhone 7 has 2GB RAM, 32GB/128GB/256GB storage.
In the area of battery, the users may not notice much of a difference. The iPhone SE has an 1821 mAh battery and the iPhone 7 has a 1960 mAh battery, which means the previous one comes with a bit smaller battery than the later one. Moreover, the iPhone SE has wireless charging support, but the iPhone 7 doesn’t have. Using any Qi wireless charger, one can charge the device anytime, anywhere.
The iPhone SE starts at $399 for a 64GB version. For 128GB, you have to pay $449 and you have to pay $549 for 256GB. In 2016, the price of the iPhone 7 started at $649. But the price decreases as newer models have come.
Though iPhone SE looks similar to the iPhone 7, iPhone SE is better than the old one. In iPhone SE, you get better cameras, faster performance, and wireless charging support. In conclusion, the iPhone SE is exceeded than any other existing iPhone.
